When considering a hand sink for your needs, the first question to ask is whether you have access to water supply and drainage. If so, opting for a fixed (plumbed) hand wash basin is usually more cost-effective and hygienic.
For locations without fixed water connections, portable sinks are an excellent alternative.
If hot water is a requirement, first determine if you need the flexibility to switch between cold and hot water, or if you need instant hot water. In that case, the Portable sink, automatic, hot and cold water, stainless steel would be ideal. This sink requires electricity ⚡️ (3600 W). This is a fairly significant amount of electricity since heating water instantly requires high power. Check that you have this amount of power available in your electrical installation.
If you only need hot water without the need for instant temperature changes, there are three models to consider:
- Portable Sink 061430 with Hot Water
- Portable Sink 061428 with Hot Water
- Portable Automatic Hot Water Stainless Steel Hand Washbasin with Battery
The hot water function in the three models works similarly: a heating element is placed inside the clean water tank, taking 1-2 hours to heat the water up to a maximum of 32°C. This heating element requires electricity (100 W). This is a very efficient way to heat water, with hardly any electricity consumption.
Here are the differences between the three models:
Portable Sink 061430 with Hot Water: Uses a foot pump, delivers 1 liter per minute, has a 10-liter tank, offers discontinuous flow, and does not require electricity or a battery.
Portable Sink 061428 with Hot Water: Features a foot pedal, provides a flow rate of 2 liters per minute, comes with a 15-liter tank, and also has discontinuous flow without needing electricity.
Portable, Automatic Hot Water Stainless Steel Hand Washbasin with Battery: This model uses an electric pump, outputs 4 liters per minute, includes a 15-liter tank for continuous flow, requires battery recharging, and has a battery life of 4-5 working days.
